Re: Julia L. Butterfield Library Referendum
(Reprinted at the request of the Author) Dear Mr. Mazzuca:
I attended the recent Town Board meeting on May 3, 2007 at which the Board listened to members of the community voice their opinions about the Board's decision to void the referendum passed back in November. I heard your views, and I was grateful to hear you say that evening that the Board would honor the judge's decision. In my opinion this issue threatened to divide our community, and I am relieved to know that it is now at rest since the judge has rendered a definite decision. I hope that we can now all move forward with goodwill and the spirit of neighborly cooperation that is the hallmark of our lovely little town.
