Putnam County Day to be Celebrated at Historic Putnam County Courthouse in Carmel
Putnam County will observe the 195th Anniversary of its creation on Friday, June 8, 2007, at 10am. The theme this year will be "The Old Mills of Putnam County", Richard Othmer, Kent Historian, will speak on "The Restoration of Ludington's Mill".
The public is invited to attend. Immediately following the Courthouse program refreshments will be served in the County Office Building, where there will be an exhibit on historic mills throughout the county.
