Annual Cold Spring Antiques Show This Sunday, June 10 at Mayor's Park
On Sunday, June 10, the Cold Spring Antiques Show is scheduled to happen again. More than 60 dealers will set-up early in the morning at Mayor's Park on Fair Street to get ready for the 9am opening.
According to David Cooke, show organizer, "Antiques dealers are coming from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Massachusetts to sell antiques in every category." There will be a good selection of furniture including pine, oak, walnut and mahogany. Primitive, Victorian and formal furniture dating from the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century. Cast iron furniture and garden pieces. Collectibles from the 1920's, 30's and 40's will include dolls, vintage toys, glass, china and silver. Paintings, pottery, jewelry and lighting will be offered for sale. As usual, there will be something for everybody, no matter what you collect.
To help alleviate traffic and parking congestion there will be a free shuttle bus touring the Main St., the RR station and parking areas bringing people to and from the show. Anyone can use the free shuttle all day long. The Cold Spring Antiques Dealers Association, sponsors of this show, want you to have a fun and exciting day. Good food and cold drinks will be available.
After you've shopped at the show don't forget to browse Main Street's many antiques and specialty shops and dine at one of our fine restaurants.
Show hours are 9am - 5pm (rain or shine). Admission is $6 (children free). Please, no pets. For more information call 265-4414 or on the web at www.ColdSpringAntiqueShow.com
