Putnam County Land Trust Conducts Butterfly Walk

Join Southeast resident and butterfly enthusiast, Bill Wallace on a Butterfly Walk through Cranberry Wildlife Management Area in the Town of Patterson, this Saturday, June 9 at 1pm.

The Managment Area is managed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and is primarily dedicated to providing habitat and resources for a variety of wildlife including butterflies. Its rolling hills, streams and several ponds are a delight to hike through. Bring binoculars. Call Bill at 279 8858 for more information.

Directions: From Route 22 in Patterson,take Birch Hill Road to the end at intersection with Stagecoach Road. Turn right onto Stagecoach and continue about 1/2 mile. Putnam County Land Trust event signs will be on the road to direct participants to parking area.
