Joan Connelly Memorial Scholarship Awarded to Haldane's Jennifer Cotennec
Jennifer Cotennec was honored at the Mental Health Association in Putnam County's May 16, 2007 Special Recognition Breakfast held at the Guideposts Headquarters in Carmel. Jennifer was the recipient of the organization's Joan Connelly Memorial Scholarship, awarded each year to a graduating high school senior who is dedicated to community service, and who plans to pursue a career in a human services field.
At the breakfast, hosted by Putnam County Sheriff Donald Smith, Jennifer received a check for $250, as well as a Certificate of Appreciation from County Executive Robert Bondi and a Citation from NYS Senator Vincent Leibell.
