Kimberly Zaleski Graduates Juilliard Pre-College
Kimberly Zaleski graduated Juilliard Pre-College Division on May 26 at a ceremony at The Juilliard School in Manhattan. She studied flute performance with Professor Bradley Garner and was featured in several concerts, symphonies, and recitals throughout her senior year. She compiled an impressive academic record, excelling at rigorous studies in solfege, music theory, and chamber ensemble work.
A graduating senior at Haldane High School and a 2003 Garrison graduate, Kimberly has been selected as a scholarship student of flute performance in the studio of Professor Marina Piccinini at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, the oldest conservatory in the United States. Ms. Piccinini, a worldrenowned solo and orchestral virtuoso from Vienna, has called Kimberly's performing both "beautifully poised and lyrical."
Kimberly has studied with Renée Siebert of the New York Philharmonic, and Lynn Cunningham of the United States Military Academy Band at West Point. She has also participated in Master Classes conducted by Sir James Galway and Julius Baker.
