Philipstown Garden Club Member Plant Sale
During the upcoming Secret Garden Tour on June 16th sponsored by PARC, the local Philipstown Garden Club members will have plants from their own gardens for sale in the courtyard of the home of JoAnn Brown off Rte 403 in Garrison.
Mrs. Brown's garden is one of the gardens on the tour and she is a member of the Philipstown Garden Club. Many residents of Philipstown may remember having purchased member's plants at the club's plant sales held throughout the years. The plants, mostly perennials along with some house plants, are very popular, mainly because they are grown locally and can put up with the hot summers and cold winters of Philipstown. All the plants will be identified; their growing habits and the best way to maintain them will also be noted and remember all the plants are grown by our members. See you on the tour in the courtyard.
