No Answer for O'Malley as Lady Knights Win One and Tie One

The Rivertowns Thunder tied the Lady Knights in the opening game and the Knights needed a win in the second meeting last weekend. Savannah O'Malley "The Knights Striker" made the decision that the second game would be different. The Thunder tried everything to slow down the assault but by the last whistle Savannah had her first hat trick in the 3-1 victory. On the opposite end of the field the ball exploded off the foot of Keeper Alex Milner, sometimes for 60 yards, backing up the opposition over and over.

The Knights then met the first place team from Queens this past Sunday and in a very physical game Savannah would strike first then Queens would answer in the second half ending the game in a 1-1 tie.

The Lady Knights will end the season next weekend with a home game against the Rye Banchees and Sunday on the road against Chappaqua. As always, Coach Erik Risher is more than proud of this dedicated group of young women.
