Computer Basics Classes at Howland Public Library
The Howland Public Library, 313 Main Street, Beacon, is again offering their popular "Computer Basics" class. The class will be held in the Library's computer center.
"Computer Basics" is perfect for anyone who has never used a computer and is designed to help novice computer users become comfortable with the basic terminology, jargon, and concepts of computing. Participants will learn how to effectively execute basic tasks using a computer. This hands-on class will emphasize mouse skills and the use of the Library's Web site (www.beaconlibrary.org). "Computer Basics" is an excellent primer for the Library's intermediate and advanced computer classes.
Each Computer Basics class meets for two, one-hour sessions. Available classes are June 19 & 26 at 1pm; July 12 & 19 at 6:30pm; August 6 &13 at 11am; or August 14 & 21 at 1pm.
