Franciscan Friars Of The Atonement Honors Longtime Employees
Catherine Nolte of Garrison and Louis Lombardo, Jr. of LaGrange will be honored on June 21 for their 20 years of service to the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement at Graymoor. Catherine works in the Community Development department and Louis in Facilities Maintenance.
"Our employees are a very essential part of our ministry here at Graymoor and without their valuable services we wouldn't be able to do what we do," says Bro. Gregory Lucrezia, SA, Secretary General. Graymoor employs approximately 170 people at their Garrison location.
Employees to be honored for 15 years of service are Sheila Barticciotto, Switchboard; Patricia Kaplan, Facilities Maintenance; and Nijola Mogan, Community Development. Ten years awards will go to: Francisco Hermida, Facilities Maintenance; Gerard Moore, Food Services; Joanne Winters, Information Technology and from Community Development: Margaret Coyle, MaryAnn Garcia, Lisa Koesling, and Andrew Rivers. With five years of service are Gregory Fimmano, Information Technology; James Genovese, Facilities Maintenance; and Deborah Russo, Treasurer's Office.
The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement are a religious community of brothers and priests founded in 1898 by Father Paul Wattson. Their worldwide ministries include Christian unity; interfaith dialogue among Christians, Jews, Muslims, and Buddhists; serving the homeless and those suffering from alcoholism, drug addictions, and HIV/AIDS; preaching the gospel in parishes around the world, and offering respite and hope to those in need of spiritual renewal.
