DMV Offers New Initiative For High School Students to Take Learner's Permit Test Online
The Putnam County Clerk's Office, acting as agent on behalf of the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles has announced an exciting new initiative entitled "Online Knowledge Test Application."
This program allows high school students, at no cost to the students or the school district, to take the learner permit knowledge test via an internet connection at the high school. Offering the knowledge test online provides a greater level of convenience for both students and their parents.
Over the last few months, this program has been well received in all participating schools and has been great success. The program is of great benefit to students and their parents in Putnam County.
