Dispute Resolution Center Offers Mediation Training
The Dispute Resolution Center is offering a 40-Hour Principles of Mediation Training to help you develop valuable skills for your career and personal life. Successful participants completing the entire training program and apprenticeship will be eligible to provide mediation services for the local courts throughout the NYS Unified Court System's Program.
This is a 3-Part program. Participants may enroll in Part I to learn about conflict and communication only. Participants interested in learning how to mediate, including those interested in apprenticeship and joining the mediator panel, should enroll in Parts I and II. Attorneys seeking 29 CLE credits should also enroll in Parts and II. Successful candidates completing Parts 1 and II may attend Part III.
