Senior Prank: Kids are Kids
Dear Editor:

Okay, enough. I just finished reading last week's front page story about the "senior prank," and I think the Haldane administration is being utterly ridiculous. It sounds to me like there was no harm and no foul. Someone was "shocked," apparently, by what they saw, and now a lesson must be given? And, you stopped school for two hours… Why? For fear some poor innocent would see chalk? Heaven forefend! What total nonsense.

Leave the kids alone. What did they harm, really? Nothing. You people already spend too much of my money to waste even more of it pursuing legal action against these kids. If you think they need to be admonished, let them spend two hours cleaning something the janitor hasn't gotten to yet, to pay back the time.

Matter of fact, if you're going to be pursuing legal action, then why don't you file trespassing charges against that nosy busybody jogger? What were they doing there? I'm not paying taxes to fund their running track. This overzealousness has to stop. Kids are kids for God's sake.
