Bella Tschinkel Graduates From Wells College
Wells College's 139th Commencement exercises took place on Saturday, May 26 at the Aurora Inn in Aurora, New York. The College conferred degrees on 85 members of the Class of 2007. The graduates and their guests heard remarks by Wells alumna Veryl V. Miles, dean and professor of law at Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.
Among those who received their diploma was Bella Tschinkel, the daughter of Paul and Sarah Tschinkel of Cold Spring. Bella graduated with a major in Psychology.
Historically a women's college, this is the first time that men have graduated from Wells. Jason Atwell of Baldwinsville, N.Y. and Shea Hagstrom of Lansing, N.Y. were among the 85 graduates to receive diplomas.
