Bill Meeks Graduates From Columbia Law School
Wilson Monell Meeks III (Bill) graduated May 21, 2007 from Columbia Law School. Upon graduation he received the James Kent Scholar award for scholastic excellence. He was also awarded the Milton B. Conford Book Prize, given annually to the student who writes the best essay on jurisprudence, and the Samuel Rosenman Prize, awarded to the student who has demonstrat academic excellence in pub law courses and outstandi qualities and leadership in t Law School, or activities r lated to the Law School in t University Community. Pr viously, Bill had received t Harlan Fisk Stone Schol award. Bill grew up in Gar son. His mother, Edie, now liv in Beacon.
