"Nosy Busybody" has Dedicated his Life to Public Service Dear Editor:
Whether one agrees or not with the way the Haldane administration handled the " Senior Prank" of June 8, one can only read with disbelief Mr. Aurand's letter to the editor that appeared in the PCN&R last week. Mr. Aurand refers to the individual who discovered the body outlines on school property as a " nosy busybody jogger". That "busybody" is a Vietnam veteran and retired state trooper who has dedicated his entire life to public service. He has been a volunteer chaperone on countless school trips, assuring the safety of the students involved.
If one follows the so-called logic of Mr. Aurand's argument, one can only come to the conclusion that he believes the "busybody" should have ignored the body outlines and kept on jogging. To do so would have been as senseless as Mr. Aurand's letter.
