Women are Being Deceived
Reprinted at the request of the Author To the Editor (Journal News):

I was amazed at Jane Matluck's (Planned Parenthood Board member) lack of knowledge expressed in your Community View, Thursday 7, regarding the psychological effects on women after an abortion. She stated that there is no "post abortion stress syndrome." That it is a fake.

If Planned Parenthood believes that then I take it for granted that they do not warn women before an abortion about the drastic psychological and physical effects they will experience. No wonder we have so many abortions. Women are being deceived. I am surprised that Jane has not heard of Project Rachel, a Post Abortion healing Ministry where thousands of women seek healing from grief and regrets from the sense of loss after an abortion. I am aware of other groups also too numerous to be listed here who have dedicated their lives to assist women in overcoming the psychological effects of abortion.

Jane stated Congress, the President and five Supreme Court Justices made health care decisions when they passed the ban on Partial Birth, the slaughter of babies about to be born. I disagree with her. They made the decision that every person has the Right to Life bestowed on them by their Creator-God, and no one has the Right to choose death instead of life for a baby about to be born.

Thomas Jefferson stated that the only legitmate object of good government is the care, and not the destruction of its citizens.
