Highland Garden Club Presents Scholarship to Maia Gallagher-Siudzinski
This year the Highland Garden Club of Cold Spring presented Maia Gallagher- Siudzinski, a 2007 Haldane Graduate (National Honor Society - Advanced Designation with Honors) with a $200 scholarship.
Maia will be attending Brandeis University in Waltham, MA this upcoming academic year. Maia is studying physics and sciences and she is interested in environmental issues.
The Highland Garden Club maintains the beautiful plantings at the foot of Main Street, the Cold Spring dock and bandstand, the Veterans Memorial and at The Butterfield Library, in addition to donatingn and trimming the Christmas tree at the Butterfield Library.
