Daniel Baltich
Daniel Baltich, age 74, a life long Cold Spring resident died on Wednesday June 27, 2007 at the Cortlandt Healthcare Center in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
He was born in Cold Spring on July 9, 1932.
Mr. Baltich was a welder for Metro North Railroad in at the Croton-Harmon Station, and a 50-year-member for the Cold Spring Fire Company.
He is survived by his wife Judith Rose-Baltich of the home address. One son Dan (Susan) Baltich of Ashburn, VA. Two daughters Kimberlee Baltich and her husband Stephen Schecter of Croton on Hudson, NY and Jennifer Baltich of Cold Spring. One brother George Baltich of Cold Spring. Two Sisters Helen Kilmer and Joan Serino both of Beacon, NY. Four Grandchildren Cecelia, Aaron, Benton and Abigail also survive. One brother Alex Baltich predeceased him.
Services took place at St. Mary's in the Highlands Church Cold Spring, on Saturday June 30, 2007 at 12 Noon. Private Cremation followed in Ferncliff Crematory. Family and Friends were invited to call at the Clinton Funeral Home Corner of Parrott & Pine Streets (21 Parrott Street) Cold Spring, on Friday June 29.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations in Mr. Baltich's memory be made to the Cold Spring Fire Company #1 Main Street, Cold Spring, NY 10516. Arrangements were under the direction of the Clinton Funeral Home.
