Vote Yes for NH Firehouse to Support Your Community
Dear Editor:
When we moved to the community of North Highlands, we were attracted by our new home's proximity to the firehouse. Since then, my husband joined the North Highlands Fire Company. Now, the future of that firehouse and that fire company is in jeopardy.
I am asking the residents of North Highlands to do two things. First, please attend the public forum on July 31 at 7:30pm to hear all the facts about why we need to replace the current building which has gallantly outlived its life expectancy and has served the community well. Secondly, and most importantly, vote Yes on Aug 14 from 6pm to 9pm to support the future of not just your firehouse, but your community.
The men and women of North Highlands Fire Company are asking you to come out once, maybe twice. Every time that whistle blows, the Fire Company comes out for you. Please vote yes on Aug 14. Remember, your vote doesn't count unless you cast it.
