Solo Exhibit for Ethan William Mason at Back Room Gallery
A reception will be held at the Back Room Gallery on Second Saturday, August 11, from 6-8pm to open a solo show of paintings by local artist Ethan William Mason. The show, titled A Figure Study, will feature a mix of new and older works by Mr. Mason. The figure, as painted by Mr. Mason is not your classical rendition but rather an emotional experience of vibrant color and unusual layout. His use of multiple canvases to complete a single image has become an element that repeats itself in his work and several will be on view.
The exhibit will run from August 9 to 31. Opening reception is on August 11 from 6-8pm. The gallery is located at 475 Main St., Beacon. Hours are Thursday-Monday, 12 noon - 6pm, Second Saturday, 12 noon to 9pm. For more information call Veryal Zimmerman at 845-838-1838.
