Philipstown Teen Players at the Depot Theatre
This coming weekend, the Philipstown Teen Players will present All In The Timing, a series of comedic one-act plays by David Ives, and a scene from Fables For Friends by Mark O'Donnell at the Depot Theatre in Garrison.
The plays include The Philadelphia, about a group of people who are physically located in a New York café, but psychologically trapped in different cities across the U.S. Words, Words, Words brings to life the theory that three monkeys typing into infinity will eventually produce Hamlet. Sure Thing follows a guy and girl as they learn the dos and don'ts of dating while their conversation is controlled by a ringing bell. Fables For Friends is about three best friends who meet up at their favorite diner for what they think is just an ordinary day, until they have a very unusual encounter with a stranger.
These plays are directed by Jessica Ritacco, a senior at SUNY New Paltz, and are performed by Lauren Contard, Tess Dul, Shauna Kalantri, Callum Lane, Olivia Levinson, Meghan Malone, David Molle, Hudson Smith, and Jon Townsend. Performances are Friday, August 3, and Saturday, August 4, at 7pm. All tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling 424-3900.
