Late breaking news! The Western Putnam Economic Development Committee, who has organized the Blowing Off Steam parade this Saturday has chosen their judges for the event. Don MacDonald and Ann Rieger have graciously volunteered to chose the best costumes in the parade. It's going to be a tough job if the parade is anything like the annual Halloween parade.
Parking will be tough on Saturday - what with the parade and the Cold Spring Fire Company's annual block party and fireworks display at Mayor's Park. If you can carpool or even better, walk down to the Village, it would help. The trolley will be available all day for the parade and a free shuttle will be available for the fireworks show (park at Haldane)
