Volunteers Deserve a Functional Firehouse
To the Editor:
On August 14, 2007, the residents of the North Highlands Fire District will vote on a 4.7 million dollar bond issue to build a new firehouse. As one of the charter members and fire commissioners of the North Highlands Fire District for many years, I urge the voters of the fire district to vote in favor of this important issue. The volunteers deserve a functional firehouse to provide for the safety of the community for many years to come. Please come out and vote Yes on August 14.
