Westchester Oratorio Society Introduces New Artistic Director/Conductor
Benjamin Niemczyk, the new Artistic Director/Conductor of the Westchester Oratorio Society invites competent volunteer singers in all voices to join the Oratorio for their exciting new season.
The Society's fall concert will be held on Sunday, December 9th, 2007 at. 4pm in the acoustically and visually sunning Scarborough Presbyterian Church. For his conducting debut Mr. Niemezyk has chosen an oratorio by Camille Saint-Saëns, two World Premieres written in the classical tradition as well as works by Bruckner and Faure. The first rehearsal will be on Tuesday, September 4, 2007, 7:30 to 10pm at the Katonah United Methodist Church, 7 Bedford Road, Katonah, located right off I-684 & Saw Mill Parkway and one block from the Metro North RR Station.
