The Wonderful World of Dragonflies and Damselflies Program at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum
On Saturday, August 18, at 10am, the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will present "The Wonderful World of Dragonflies and Damselflies."
Join Larry Federman, an Audubon Educator, as he teaches all about these amazing insects at the Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center, 20 Kenridge Farm Drive, Route 9W, Cornwall. Learn the basics of dragonfly anatomy, their life cycle, feeding habits and species identification. Come take a hike to the fields of the Outdoor Discovery Center to net and identify the dragonfly and damselfly species that live there. Data collected will be included in the New York State Dragonfly and Damselfly Survey. Appropriate footwear
