Garden Conservancy's Open Days Program Highlights Four of Westchester's Best Private Gardens

On Sunday, September 16, 2007, visit four of Westchester County's best private gardens, open as part of The Garden Conservancy's National Open Days Program.

Visitors may begin the tour at the garden of Penelope & John Maynard, 210 Hook Road, Bedford, 10am to 6pm, or the garden of John & Melanie Danza, 50 Upper Shad Road, Pound Ridge, 10am to 4pm. Additional gardens open on this date include Ice Pond Farm/ Garden of Dick Button in North Salem, and the garden of James & Susan Henry in Waccabuc, hours vary.

Admission to each garden is $5, no reservations are required, rain or shine. For more information, call The Garden Conservancy toll-free weekdays, 1- 888-842-2442, or visit www.opendaysprogram.org.
