Watery Fun at St. Philip's Summer Camp

"Ahoy there matey!" was how a visitor to St. Philip's summer camp was likely to be greeted in past weeks. The camp's ocean-going theme encompassed everything from beluga whale songs to aquarium art projects to sea snakes. A pirate theme emerged as the most popular, with the children making flags, hats, spyglasses, and even their own ships out of large cardboard boxes. Shown in the photograph modeling their Jolly Roger hats are Jack Jordan and Parker Parella, both of Cold Spring.

St. Philip's Nursery School is a developmentally appropriate preschool serving the threeand four-year old children of Philipstown and surrounding areas. For further information, visit www.stphilipsns.com.
