Cold Spring Fire Co Block Party a Thoroughly Enjoyable Evening
Dear Editor:
My husband and I brought our three children to the Cold Spring Volunteer Fire Company's Block Party this past Saturday night at Mayor's Park. I just had to write because we all had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
The band was great, creating a true party atmosphere and they literally took "no breaks" in the 3+ hours we were there. The location was perfect-safe for the kids to run around and enjoy each other, and truly picturesque on our beautiful Hudson. The fireworks were spectacular.
The thing that really made it so great was the friendliness of everyone there-it was delightful to see old friends and new. The Cold Spring Volunteer Fire Company should be saluted for putting on such an enjoyable evening. I look forward to attending again next year!
