Antonio Cutaia Antonio (Anthony) Cutaia, age 94, of Cold Spring, died on Saturday, August 04, 2007 at his residence in Cold Spring.
Born in the Bronx, NY on February 14, 1913, he was the son of the late Onofrio and Pasqualino Cutaia.
Mr. Cutaia was a retired troubleshooter for The NYC Transit Authority. He was a WWII veteran having served in the US Army from 1942-45. A resident of Cold Spring since 1985 coming from Riverhead, NY, he was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church in Cold Spring, and a member of the Philipstown Senior Citizens and the Cold Spring Boat Club.
Mr. Cutaia was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Angela (Galiardo) Cutaia. He is survived by one son, Anthony J. Cutaia of Cortlandt Manor, NY, one daughter, Patricia Cumalich of White Plains, NY, and one brother, Joseph Cutaia of Bronx, NY. Three grandchildren, Claudine Messenger, Christopher Cutaia and Jennifer Cutaia and one great-grandchild Mikaela Messenger also survive him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Thursday August 9, 2007 at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair St., Cold Spring, followed by entombment in Cold Spring Cemetery. At the request of the family visiting hours are private, under the direction of the Clinton Funeral Home Cor. of Parrott and Pine Sts. Cold Spring.
