John J. Resi
John J. Resi of Cold Spring, passed away on August 3rd, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Born in Yonkers, NY on November 6, 1917, John served in the U.S. Army Signal Corp during World War II. After his discharge he enjoyed a career as an electrician for Otis Elevator Company where he worked for over 30 years.
John moved his family to Cold Spring in 1976. He devoted much of his time, especially after his retirement in 1982, to what he enjoyed most; tending to his vegetable gardens and enjoying life. John is survived by sons John and Joseph. He is predeceased by his wife Mary and eldest son, Alan. John will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings, NY.
