Gilead Presbyterian Church is Going to the Dogs (and Cats and Gerbils and Goldfish)
Yes, on Sunday afternoon, August 26, under the tent, at 2pm Gilead Presbyterian Church will hold a Blessing of the Animals.
Bring your fuzzy friends to celebrate the feast of St. Francis, patron saint of animals. There will be a brief prayer service, and all the beasts will be blessed.
A donation box will be available for offerings to the Putnam Humane Society. Bring the kids, the pets, and your own childlike heart! The Church is located at Church Street and Seminary Hill Road in Carmel. For more information, contact 845- 225-4586.
