Benjamin Spooner and Kristen Vasselman Celebrated Their Wedding
Family and friends celebrated the marriage of Benjamin Spooner of Cold Spring and Kristen Vasselman of Massapequa, New York on a beautiful Friday afternoon, November 24, 2006. The ceremony took place at St. Rose of Lima Church in Massapequa, New York.
The bride was attended by maid of honor, Jen Creador, and bridesmaids Tracy Spooner, Tara Spooner, Katie Imperio, Laurie Baird and Sharon Degnan. The groom's best man was Dave Varian, and groomsmen were George Vasselman, Josiah Peparo, Brian Kushnir, Brian Minardo, and Kevin O'Connor. Readings during the wedding ceremony were by the bride's godmother, Christine Imperio, as well as the groom's godmother and aunt, Julie Murphy and Joan Koval. The flower girl was Olivia Vasselman, cousin of the bride.
A holiday reception followed at the Watermill in Smithtown. The couple honeymooned in Mexico and are now residing in Hartsdale, New York. The new Mrs. Spooner is an attorney in private practice. Her husband is a Physician's Assistant with Somers Orthopedics.
