Putnam Community Service Network Presents Effective Leadership Communication Skills Workshop
The Putnam Community Service Workshop, in cooperation with Putnam County Personnel Department presents a United Way-Pace University not-for-profit Management Center program: Effective Leadership Communication Skills. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, from 9:30am to 12:30pm. The cost is $30 and the registration deadline is September 4.
Leaders in non-forprofit organizations and government know that superior communication skills are critical. This session will focus on the proven ways of getting your message across in a clear, concise and complete way. Topics to be discussed include understanding your audience, informal vs. formal communication, listening effectively, and identifying the elements that make meetings work.
The program is designed for Executive Directors, Program Managers, Department Heads and Supervisors, and is limited to the first 20 registrants.
