Michael Gibbons is Tireless and Persistent
To the Editor:

I have followed Michael Gibbons's work on the Planning Board for a number of years. When I was chair of the Wetlands Advisory Council, he took so much interest in his work that he attended wetlands meetings when planning board issues were on the agenda. I discovered that Mr. Gibbons is not only able to grasp the details of all projects that come before him, he is also able to understand their overall impact on Philipstown.

Individuals who can approach an issue from both the top and the bottom are rare, and this alone qualifies him to be a candidate for Town Councilman.

Happily, there are two other good reasons to vote for Mr. Gibbons in the Democratic primary: the first is that he has been a tireless worker for the town for a decade, and the second is that he is persistent. This persistence has given the Democratic voters of Philipstown who are not close to the power center of the party a chance to have more influence over who gets on the ballot in November. In doing this, Mr. Gibbons has already made the system work better for the citizens.
