3rd Annual Paul Cavuoto Memorial Golf Tournament Takes Place at Branton Woods Course
The 3rd Annual Paul Cavuoto Memorial Golf Tournament takes place Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Branton Woods Golf Course in Hopewell Junction, New York.
Friends of Paul was created by the friends of Paul Cavuoto to commemorate his legacy as a trusted friend, husband and father. Paul departed much too soon from a tragic heart attack in 2003, yet his vibrance for life and inimitable spirit and smile live on. Proceeds from the 2007 event will be placed in a trust fund for Paul's children, a Scholarship for a Carmel High School student, and a donation to the American Heart Association in his honor.
Paul, along with his four siblings, grew up in Carmel and graduated from Carmel High School, and played Football (#41) for the CHS Rams. He married Maureen Nemeth, also from Carmel, and settled in Hopewell Junction.
More than 20 corporate sponsors are supporting the Paul Cavuoto Memorial Golf Tournament. Previous outings have attracted more than 100 golfers, and established a trust fund for Paul's three children, all under the age of 11.
