Interpreting Beacon Fine Arts Show at Chthonic Clash Coffee House
 | | My Beacon by Jessica Nori Diaz |
| What images come to mind when you think of Beacon? Artists constantly create new ways to capture the essence of their inner thoughts and feelings and often relate their work to the place they dwell. In this show, members of the Beacon Art Salon created artworks that speak to their thoughts, associations, visions and/or ideals of what Beacon means to them. For some it is the rich industrial legacy of this mountainous Hudson Valley town. For others it is a strong emerging art scene, or a thriving new community. Altered photography, painting, installation, mixed media and written statements about Beacon by each artist will be on view.
