Workshop on Japanese Brush Art at Brewster Library
On Saturday, September 15, from 2 to 3:30pm, Sharon Nakazato the co-director of the Yasuragi Japan Arts Center in Mahopac will present a workshop on Japanese Brush Art at the Brewster Public Library. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice this technique, called "shodo" which is based on ancient Asian principles that writing in an artistic manner can be meditative.
