Sweat for the Vets in Charity Bootcamp Workout
Do You Have What it Takes to Survive a Marine Boot Camp Workout? Do you think you have what it takes to survive a half hour of hard-core boot camp with real Marines? Club Fit of Jefferson Valley, is giving you the chance to find out! They have teamed with the Support Task Force and the Vietnam Veterans Assistance Fund to put together a workout with a cause.
Area Marines will take over Club Fit on Saturday, September 15 to see if you are up for the challenge. A Reveille Boot Camp workout begins at 7:30am for those early birds on the run. Throughout the morning additional Boot Camp workouts are scheduled according to your fitness level; Kids, Family, Basic Training and House of Pain. If you make it through Basic Training - try House of Pain and see if you can keep up with these in-yourface Marines. All are welcome to attend.
Proceeds from this Boot Camp Day will directly benefit the Vietnam Veterans Assistance Fund, a non-profit humanitarian and educational organization founded to improve the lives of America's veterans. Their programs include: medical and mental health support, homeless services, career counseling and job placement, and special services for those disabled in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The fee is $30 for each class and if you donate $50 you get a camo tee-shirt. All money collected goes to the charities.
