Melissa Jamin Marries William Rossano
Joseph and Roberta Jamin of Cold Spring are delighted to announce the marriage of their daughter, Melissa Robin Jamin, to William Edward Rossano, the son of Kathleen Rossano, formerly of Cold Spring, and now of Naples, Florida, and the late William Rossano.
The couple was married at the Cold Spring Methodist Church on July 7, 2007. Melissa was escorted by her father. The Reverend Douglas Osgood officiated. Carol Osgood provided the organ music for the ceremony.
The bride's two sisters, Christine and Amanda Jamin, were the maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Vanessa Bates, the bride's cousin, and Kristen Lindner, the bride's longtime close friend.
The groom's brother, Andrew Rossano, was the best man. The groomsmen were the groom's close friends, Eric Manzoiello, Robert Martin and Corey Tesler.
In attendance at the ceremony were also the bride's grandmother, Barbara Bates of Brewster, New York, and the groom's grandfather, Joseph McGuiness of Margate, Florida. Ushers escorting the bride's grandmother and bride's mother were Kyle Bates and Jason Jamin, cousins of the bride.
The ceremony was followed by an afternoon reception shared with family and close friends held at Anthony's Pier 9, New Windsor, New York.
Melissa and William are both 1999 graduates of Haldane High School. Melissa attended Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA degree in Mathematics, and SUNY New Paltz, where she received an MS degree in Math Education. She currently is a mathematics teacher for the Putnam Valley Central School District. William attended Oswego State where he graduated with a BS degree in Math Education, and Mercy College, where he received an MS degree in Education. He currently is a mathematics teacher for the Dover Central School District.
The couple resides in Stormville, New York, after a honeymoon on the Hawaiian Islands.
Melissa and Bill would like to thank all of their family and friends for celebrating their special day with them and helping to make it such a joyous and memorable occasion.
