Mental Health Association in Dutchess County Registering Participants for Free Epilepsy Training
Registrations are now being accepted for a free epilepsy training for service providers and consumers provided by the Mental Health Association in Dutchess County, 253 Mansion Street, Poughkeepsie. The class will be offered at the Family Partnership Center located at 29 North Hamilton Street in Poughkeepsie on Wednesday September 19, 2007 from 11am- 12:30pm. This training will cover topics such as types of seizures, appropriate first aid, and recognizing when medical intervention is necessary.
There is no fee for the training and all are welcome to attend, however Pre-registration is required. The presenter will be Jean Collins, Community Educator for the Epilepsy Society of Southern New York.
