Talk of the Town

Summer is winding down and all the schools are busy getting ready to receive this year's students. The districts' bus schedules will be printed in next week's edition.

But summer is not over yet and the Chamber of Commerce's Sunday Music Series is still going strong - what better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon then to sit on the dock, watch the sun set behind the mountains and listen to some great music - and its all free!

Lynn, Danny and "little" Max Ringelstein are leaving for colder shores this week. We will miss them all. Bon Voyage.

A reminder - The Cold Spring Village's annual Senior Picnic will take place this Saturday, 12 noon. Hosted by the Village Board of Trustees, the picnic is free and includes food and beverages.

Our birthday list this week includes Alexa Coulter, Tony Ricci, Ann Marie Junjulas, Matthew Lyons, Manish Dharin, Ernest Lyons, Tyrone Bass, Keely Foster, Nancy Tompkins, Kimberly Brewer, Rosemary Bernasconi, Ruth Eisenhower, Stanley O'Dell, Jay Marchese, Leanne Kearns, Elizabeth Hynes, Elisa Barile, Michael Evans, Kenny Dini, Julianna Fiala, Kerry Downes, Jake Burke, Larry Turner, Kathryine Thorpe, and last, but certainly not the least, Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce President Cathryn Fadde. Congrats to all.
