Carl E. Caruso

Carl E. Caruso age 86 of Beacon, NY died on Friday August 17, 2007 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.

Born in Mt. Vernon, NY on May 19, 1921, he was the son of the late Michael and Rose (Petrillo) Caruso.

Mr. Caruso was a retired union Carpenter having worked for Local 323 in Beacon. He retired in 1984. A resident of Beacon for nearly all his life, he was a U. S. Army / Air Corps veteran having served during WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Nania) Caruso, one son, Michael A and Pamela J Caruso of Wappinger Falls, one daughter, Carolyn C. and Rick Lampack of Fishkill, one brother, Fred Caruso of Wappinger Falls, three sisters, Sarah Frasca of Austin, TX, Anne and David Miller of Beacon, and Marie Asper of Beacon, and two grandchildren, Kimberly and Jamie Fosgate and Jeffrey Lampack. One sister, Jeanette Palmer, predeceased him.

A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Tuesday August 21, 2007 at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair St. Cold Spring. Interment followed in Cold Spring Cemetery.
