Date Announced for Hudson Valley Hospital Center's Annual Auxiliary Ball

John C. Federspiel (far left), and the rest of the Ball
Steering Committee, work to make the hospital's biggest fundraising event a success.

Hudson Valley Hospital Center's Annual Auxiliary Ball, to be held at the Hilton Rye Town on Saturday, October 20, promises to be an impressive event with a Grecian twist. "An Aegean Affair" will help raise funds for the Hospital's capital campaign to assist in financing the $100 million building project that includes a patient tower with all private rooms.

Ball honorees share the spotlight for their dedication to the Hospital and achievements in the community. The physician honorees this year are husband and wife Cortlandt Manor residents: Drs. Shanker and Uma Krishnamurthy, both respected in their fields of expertise, and loyal supporters of the Hospital; auxiliary honoree is Carol Kane, of Putnam Valley, who continues to volunteer for the benefit of the Hospital, and also for her church and several other civic and charitable organizations; and community honoree is Barr & Barr, Inc. Builders, located in Manhattan, as they spearhead the construction of the new building.

A spectacular evening is in store for all who attend, with music by the Robert Mitchell Orchestra, cocktails, dinner, a dazzling silent auction, and spectacular entertainment.

Information about seating and the ball journal is available by calling the Foundation Office at Hudson Valley Hospital Center at 914-734-3862. New this year is registration on line. Go to www.hvhc.org.
