Supports Cathy Lilburne
Dear Editor:
I am writing in support of Cathy Lilburne's candidacy for Town Board Member in the Democratic primary on September 18 and in the subsequent election.
She has my complete support. I know from working closely with her over many years that she has the capabilities and experience that will benefit all of us once she is elected to our Town Board.
These capabilities include an open and inquisitive mind, a determination to have all possible information before making a decision and a history of hard work and perseverance. Cathy's work for 8 years on the Garrison School Board, including her Presidency of that Board, and her subsequent 4 years on the Putnam/N. Westchester BOCES Board have given her the experiences necessary to serve on the Town Board.
In these Board capacities she always worked, often in an emotionally charged atmosphere, to move the School's and BOCES programs forward, always forward. Cathy listens well, works effectively and stays focused on the issues.
We are fortunate that Cathy Lilburne wishes to continue to serve us all. Please vote for her on September 18 in the Primary and then also in the election.
