Fall Support Groups in Putnam for Women with Cancer
Support Connection, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization offering free, confidential support services to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Among their offerings are several ongoing support groups in Putnam for women with breast and ovarian cancer.
All groups take place once a month, and focus on life after a cancer diagnosis. They are facilitated by trained counselors who have experienced cancer. There is no charge for any of the groups, but pre-registration is required. Participants must call each month to confirm that they will be attending.

The following are the ongoing support groups on Support Connection's fall calendar that are offered in Putnam:
Breast and Ovarian Cancer Support Group: This support group is for women living with breast or ovarian cancer. It is offered on the 2nd Monday of the month, from 10- 11:30am, at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel.
Breast Cancer Support Group: This support group is for women living with breast cancer. It is offered on the 3rd Monday of the month, from 10:15- 11:45am at the Mahopac Public Library in Mahopac.
Ovarian & Gynecological Cancer Support Group: This support group is for women living with ovarian or gynecological cancer. It is offered on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm at Putnam Hospital in Carmel.
Support Connection, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization based in Yorktown Heights that provides free, confidential support services to women, their families and friends affected by breast and ovarian cancer. The support provided enables women to help each other and empowers them to become their own healthcare advocates. Services include one-on-one counseling, support groups, wellness and educational programs, resource and referral information, and a toll-free Hotline.
