Community Helps Bereaved Family with "Glennapalooza" Benefit Concert
Tragically last August Glenn Andersen was killed while returning home from work. He left behind his wife and 8 children who range from one to 18 years old.
Glenn who stood over six feet tall, with an always ready and warm smile, is remembered for his faith and kindness, ready to shake or lend a hand. We all have something unique for this world, and Glenn's gift was that of brotherhood, pure and simple.
Glenn was a member of First Baptist Church in Brewster who, along with their local community organizations, helped provide for the family's immediate needs. Many local churches and neighbors who heard of the loss sent gifts overflowing to aid the family.
On Saturday, September 15 2007, a benefit concert will be held at Camp Hope, 250 Ninham Rd, in Carmel, starting at 12pm. It is a celebration of Glenn's life and an opportunity to help provide for the family's future. Along with music provided by Cross Purpose, Etx, Bizzy Bender and Temporarily Un-Named, look for a day filled with Great Food, Kid's Activities, Raffles & Free Stuff.
All those making this day possible, from musicians to clean up crew, are donating their time so all proceeds raised will go directly to the Andersen family.
So bring a blanket or chair, and come join in a great day of Celebration, Love, and Music. For tickets and additional info go to: www.glennapalooza.org
