In Support of Nancy Montgomery
To the Editor:
We have both lived in Philipstown for 30 years and have known Nancy Montgomery and her family for over 20 of those years. We are delighted she has been endorsed for the democratic nomination for councilwoman on the Philipstown Town Board. She would be a great asset to the Board as her roots in Philipstown run deep and her love for this community is so evident in all that she does.
Nancy has helped the Philipstown Depot Theatre become a thriving source of constant and varied entertainment offerings for out area; she has worked on the Philipstown Recreation Commission and has participated in the creative expansion of our recreation department which now offers a wide variety of programs for all ages year round; and Nancy is a volunteer EMT with Philipstown Ambulance Corp. which has opened her eyes to the need for good emergency response networks
Nancy believes in longterm planning, not only to promote healthy growth in our town, but to preserve the beauty that is Philipstown. She cares much about our seniors and wants to ensure they can live here and be secure in the knowledge that their medical and emergent needs will be met by an EMS system that considers them a priority.
We know Nancy treasures this town and believes in serving it well. Please vote for her on September 18.
