Glynwood Center Hosts Panel Discussion on Impact of Climate Change on Agriculture and Food

On Monday, September 24, from 6:30-8pm, the Glynwood Center will hold a presentation and panel discussion at the Helen Mills Theater, 137-139 West 26th Street, New York City.

In the first event of the 2007- 2008 Food2 series, Glynwood looks at the global issue of climate change in terms of its local impact on the regional food economy of the Hudson Valley. After a review of current projections about the likely impact of climate change on agricultural production, the speakers will discuss how these projections are already influencing investment decisions, and how farmers are dealing with climate changes we are already experiencing.

There is no attendance fee but, due to limited seating, reservations are recommended. To reserve a seat, please call Anita Barber at 265-3338.
