Autumn Equinox Retreat and Dinner Offered at St. Mary's Church this Sunday
This Sunday, September 23, from 4pm to 8pm at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in the Highlands there will be a special opportunity organized around the Autumn Equinox to explore ways of coming into greater balance with our lives and the life around us.
In an inspirational four hour retreat and dinner guided by one of the best known women Zen Buddhist teachers in America, Sensei Bonnie Myotai Treace, the community is invited to learn some traditional as well as innovative meditation skills, enjoy significant conversation over a celebratory dinner including music and art presentations. Sensei will offer a talk on "Light and Dark", and invite those attending to consider being part of an informal spiritual community for the Fall.
The dinner will be in the beautiful St. Mary's parish hall, and will feature a wonderful menu of harvest foods, including pies! Offering requested for the retreat is $60 at the door.
